The Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has forwarded the name of Ekemejero Ohwovoriole, SAN to the State House of Assembly for confirmation as the new Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.

Ohwovoriole, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, hails from Olomu Kingdom in Ughelli South LGA. He was among the lawyers that successfully litigated cases challenging Oborevwori’s election as governor.
With over 27 years of legal experience, Ohwovoriole has served as Special Assistant to a former Delta State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice. He has also represented the state in major constitutional cases.
The legal luminary established his own law firm, Aequitas Chambers, in 2007 and has since defended high-profile election petition, civil and criminal cases. He is renowned for expertise in commercial law, criminal law and election law.
Ohwovoriole has been actively involved with the Nigerian Bar Association at state and national levels over the years. He is also a member of various other professional associations locally and internationally.
The senior advocate is married to the President of the Asaba Area Customary Court and they have children together. His passion for football and judo is also well-known.
The Delta State House of Assembly is expected to carry out the necessary confirmation process before Ohwovoriole can assume his new office.
