The Nigerian Law School has issued a notice to 18 candidates who are yet to submit their Body of Benchers forms, warning that they will not be called to the Bar unless the required documents are submitted before the deadline.

In the notice titled “Submission of Benchers Forms,” published on their website, the affected candidates were directed to forward their forms to the Exams and Records Office or send soft copies to info@lawschool.gov.ng.
They were also advised to contact Mr. Idris of the Body of Benchers on 08036103222 for further guidance.
According to the notice, the candidates must submit the outstanding forms on or before Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
The notice stated that the affected candidates would not be called to the Bar without the submission of the required Benchers forms.
The list comprises three candidates category 1, eight in the Second Class Lower category and seven in the Pass category.
Those listed under candidates are Orebela Maduechesi, Oluoma Umeh Onyinye and Hurerah Adamu.
The category 3 includes Aminu Adamu, Hajara Mohammed Bello, Busari Rosemary Keccy, Chibuzo Emmanuel Madabuchukwu, Ejiogu Ugochukwu Onyekachi, Emmanuel Ajana, Okoro Favour Amarachi and Taiwo Olaoluwa Colin.
Those listed under the category 4 are Gbakaan Favan Lovelyn, Obinna-Egu Adaeze Blossom, El-Yakub Salmat, Toheebh Olamilekan, Abel Ayodeji, Bette Obi Prosper Obiso and Okoude Emmanuel.
The notice urged all affected candidates to treat the directive as urgent in order to avoid being excluded from the forthcoming Call to Bar ceremony.
