Reclaiming the Noble Identity of the Legal Profession,” Akangbe reflected on the current challenges facing the legal sector, where ambition often overshadows conscience and convenience sometimes trumps conviction. He stressed that the law is not merely a ladder for personal gain, but a covenant to uphold justice, fairness, and the common good.
“This Law Week is more than a gathering; it is a call to renewal. To make honour our hustle, integrity our ambition, and justice our legacy,” Akangbe remarked.
