*Identifies with Mr. Clement’s cause

The former Secretary to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Bwari Branch, Mr. Olalekan I. Oladapo has attested to the qualities and character of Mr. Clement Ugo Chukwuemeka, who is going for the position of the NBA 2nd Vice President, referring to him as a selfless leader.

In a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, Mr. Oladapo Esq made it known that his testimony of the characters and capacity of Mr. Clement stemmed out from his past experience while working with Mr. Clement when he had been the Chairman of the NBA Bwari Branch, and he (Mr. Oladapo) had been the Secretary.

Mr. Oladapo stated that, premised on this working experience, he could confidently attest to the qualities of Mr. Clement Ugo Chukwuemeka, who he referred to as a leader endued with the spirit of service. He also stated that this zeal and selfless act of Mr. Clement Ugo Chukwuemeka had provided results in the past.

“I can attest to the fact that he is a leader endued with the spirit of service. He is humane, loving and selfless leader who can go extra mile for the welfare of members, non members as well. I remember his efforts in ensuring a colleague and a member of the Unity Bar who was detained and assaulted by the overzealous police officer regained his freedom.” He stated.

He went on to opine that the passion exhibited by Mr. Clement Ugo Chukwuemeka for the welfare of lawyers couldn’t be rivaled. “His passion for the speedy justice administration is second to none.” He continued

According to him, Mr. Clement made sacrifices when it came to catering the Welfare of lawyers, and it was his submission that indeed Mr. Chukwuemeka was a peace lawyer and a worthy candidate he could identify with. His statement read in part thus: “Mr Chukwuemeka made personal sacrifice , towards addressing the facility’s deficits in the courts within the jurisdiction. I witnessed cases where he used his personal money to fix bulbs, fans, Acs in our court rooms and the judges’ chambers from Bwari to Dutse all the way to Kubwa. He is a good Christian and peace lover. I identify with his cause.”
