The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory will embark on a 17-day Christmas and New Year Vacation from December 18, 2020,

The Chief judge, Justice Ishaq Bello, in a circular made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL), said that the court will resume for the new legal year on January 4, 2021

He said that the directive was in compliance with the provisions of Order 52 Rule 4 (c) of the Rules of the FCT High Court.

“Pursuant to the provisions of Order 52 Rule 4 (c) of the Rules of this Court, the court will as from Friday 18th day of December, 2020 to Friday 1st January, 2021 be on Christmas and New Year recess.

The court will resume sitting on Monday 4th January, 2021.” the Circular reads
