Precious Chikwendu, the ex-beauty queen has set the record straight on her relationship with Femi Fani-Kayode, her estranged husband.

Chikwendu has been in a legal tussle for the custody of her four children since her marriage to the ex-minister hit the rock in 2020.

The marriage suffered set back over Chikwendu’s claim of domestic violence and Fani-Kayode’s counterclaim of infidelity.

But the pair recently sparked rumours that they are back together again.

Both of them have been seen together at events while Chikwendu has also visited the house of Fani-Kayode on a couple of occasions.

Reacting to the speculations that they are back together, the mother of four accused bloggers of “spreading lies” to get traffic.

“To all bloggers and persons trying to spew stories for traffic. It is a pity you are spreading these lies. What have we become?” she asked in an Instagram post on Saturday.

“So hungry for negative news, excited about people being bitter at each other unending and fighting wars to death even at the detriment of innocent children? God have mercy on you!

“And some of you bloggers have kids? @real_ffk and I had our wars. I fought brazenly, and in the end, earned my respect and ended rifts with agreements to focus on the priority which remains the four boys.

“Since then we have attended school programs, made decisions about our kids and wished each other well sincerely. If being in a party together seems to make headlines and feels like issue then we have problems with our thinking as a people.

“I wouldn’t see that as a big deal given that I talk to my children’s father as often as possible so why would a picture stir such?”

Chikwendu said although she and the minister are on good terms, they live separately and have no influence on each other’s lives.

“We have greater national concerns than to focus on this. @real_ffk and I are in good terms and live separately. I have no influence on his personal life neither does he mine. I am the mother of his sons and that is not changing,” she added.

“There’s nothing new to co-parenting and it is clear to those in my life. You can Insult me and make your followers do. It wont change anything but please know that all of these is affecting 4 innocent kids whose happiness depends on both parents and are currently enjoying the warmth they lost for 2years.

“Your posts are ego damaging and can deny these kids more years and you know it. And if publicising and inciting drama gives you your pound of flesh for whatever reasons known to you, then I leave you all to God.

“@real_ffk remains their father and regardless of whatever differences we had and separation, I will honor their father. I owe them a peaceful childhood.”
