The Enugu State Panel Of Enquiry On Police Brutality And Extra-Judicial Killings has announced that it will resume sitting on June 21, 2021
This is contained in a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer signed by Secretary to the Panel, Onochiengwu Obuna, which states that the sitting will be at the usual venue, Enugu State Judiciary Headquarters Independence Layout inside old Court 3 during which pending petitions will be adopted
The Notice reads, “The Enugu State Panel Of Enquiry On Police Brutality And Extra-Judicial Killings will resume its public hearing on Monday 21st June 2021 at the usual venue (Enugu State Judiciary Headquarters Independence Layout inside old Court 3) at 9:00am prompt.
“Affected parties or interested individuals whose complaints, petitions and memos are pending before The Panel are hereby notified as follows:
“That there will be a call over and adoption of all the pending cases which are yet to be adopted on Monday 21st June, Tuesday 22nd June and Thursday 24th June 2021.”
Obuna enjoined the affected individuals or interested parties to comply accordingly to enable the Panel complete its assignment within the time granted it
