TheNigerialawyer, reports that youths have taken to the streets of Abuja, Lekki Tollgate, Enugu, and some states, to mark the first anniversary of the shootings at peaceful #Endsars protesters at the tollgate last year, October 20. One of the key figures at the memorial is a music star, Falz, Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore and activist, Deji Adeyanju, Flavour and a host of others.

Ewenode, who made this remark on Wednesday, said all form of brutality should be brought to an end.

“I stand with Nigerians. I urge everyone in power at all levels today to have sober reflections of what led to the agitations to end Police brutalities and proffer solutions going forward.

“Let there be an immediate end to all forms of brutalities on Nigerians.

“Let our laws protect all citizens and let all outstanding Petitions, cases, and issues still pending in the various Endsars Panels be expeditiously concluded and the recommendations acted upon by all concern.

“Let the Fundamental Rights of the citizenry be primary always.

“I pray for an end to all forms of pains, crisis and the unwarranted bloodlettings in our land.

“May the Almighty God have mercy and bring healing to our Country, Nigeria.
