The Chief Judge of the FCT High Court, Hon. Justice Ishaq Bello has directed the staff of some Courts to stay at home till further notice, following the tension as a result of the violence that has marred the #EndSARS protests.

This directive was disclosed to TheNigeriaLawyer by a source on Monday.

However, this directive is said not to be applicable to staff in Maitama High Court, High Court Zone 2 and Magistrate Courts in Zones 2 & 3.

“I have been directed by the Chief Registrar to convey the Hon. Chief Judge’s directive that staff in all Courts with the exception of High Court Maitama, High Court Zone 2, Magistrate Courts in Zone 2 & 6, should temporarily stop coming to work due to the prevailing security challenges”, the source said.

Meanwhile, the source further stated that, “Please note that the resumption date would be communicated as soon as the situation improves”.
