The eNaira Speed Wallet is back on Google Play Store 24 hours after its disappearance.

Recall that the e-Naira Speed Wallet app went missing from the Google Playstore on Wednesday, just 48 hours after its launch.

Director of Corporate Communications of CBN, Osita Nwanisobi, in Abakaliki, on Thursday, said the app’s disappearance was only temporary as it was undergoing an important upgrade aimed at tackling glitches noticed since its launch.

Nigerians had criticised the app over their inability to easily link their emails and BVNs.

Before it went offline, the app had been downloaded by over 100,000 people.

The app, which went missing on Wednesday afternoon, came live around 1.00pm on Thursday.

Checks showed that some Nigerians are still dropping unpleasant reviews on the app over their inability to login successfully.
