UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA STUDENTS BAR ASSOCIATION UNSBA Presents the 4th Edition of LEGALOGUE CALL FOR PAPERS The Editorial Committee of the University of Nigeria Students Bar Association (UNSBA), recently constituted to oversee the publication of the fourth edition of the University of Nigeria Bar Journal (The Legalogue), wishes to, by this publication, make a call for papers on all legal issues. The University of Nigeria Bar Journal (UNBJ) is a publication of the UNSBA, the aim of which is to serve as an important academic forum for legal scholarship, an effective research tool for students of the law as well as a crucible for shaping their writing skills. The Journal welcomes articles from law teachers, practicing lawyers and students from law faculties all over Nigeria. The Journal would comprise Articles, Notes and Case Reviews of recent appellate court decisions and reviews of recently passed legislation. 1. All articles from students are to be published as Notes and are expected from students in fourth year and final year only. Reviews of Cases and Recent Legislation will be accepted from students in second year and third year. 2. Notes should be approximately 20 pages while Reviews on Recent Cases and Legislation should be 10 pages. Alternatively, the length of the article should not exceed 10,000 words, abstract and footnotes inclusive. Every article must have an abstract of not more than 200 words.The distinction above underscores the global standard of which the Journal stands to represent. 3. All entries must be on purely legal issues 4. All submissions MUST be in MS Word format. Times New Roman, font 12 for general text, font 11 for indented quotations and font 10 for footnotes. Double-Line Spacing, and should be the original works of the writers. Submissions in pdf format will be disregarded. 5. In submitting articles, the authors must attest to the fact that the work is original and that he or she is the author and that the article has not been published elsewhere. 6. Drafts will not be accepted. 7. All sources must be properly documented, with proper citation of the law where necessary. All citations must be in footnotes and must be in the text. 8. Authors should alongside their articles also submit a brief personal detail about themselves. 9.
