Dr. Nwosu said this year’s Easter celebration is taking place amidst a near total collapse of all societal structures and governance systems.
“There’s increasing insecurity of human lives and property, there’s worsening food insecurity and energy failure.
“To make the situation even more hopeless, there’s visible absence of capacity on the part of the government to halt the drift. It is by the grace of God that we are alive.”
The Abia State Representative on the Governing Council of the Eastern Bar Forum (EBF), therefore enjoined all Nigerians to reflect on the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“That is the only hope for Nigeria and mankind.
“We pray that the resurrection of Jesus Christ will bring forth a better system and restore our hopes in the power of God to save us and Nigeria.
“On behalf of my family, I wish all of us lawyers and all Christians HAPPY AND JOYOUS EASTER CELEBRATION.”
