President Muhammadu Buhari assented into Law, the Finance Act, 2020 on the 13th day of January, 2020.
The Finance Act has ushered in new developments in the Nigeria finance regime ranging from the usage of unclaimed dividends and dormant bank account balances by the Federal Government of Nigeria, to taxes payable by companies in respect of returns among others.
In addition, the Act introduced the deduction of #50 levy on transactions from N10,000 and above among other developments.
