Past Chairman of the Abuja branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has congratulated the NBA President Mr. Olumide Akpata and the Chairman of the NBA Welfare Committee, Y.C Maikyua, SAN, on the successful take off of the NBA/NHIS Flagship Pilot Project.

Yamah observed that the project has created some forms of “Social Safety Nets” for members of the legal profession stating that is welcome development which should be sustained.

He challenge members of the NBA at different levels to emulate the standards set by members of the Welfare Committee to replicate all round success at every branch of the NBA.

He further stated that the NBA leadership should be about ‘creating values’ to improve the lots of the Nigerian lawyers which should be the priority of every administration.
