The immediate past Assistant Secretary of the NBA, Calabar branch, Daniel Kip Esq. has expressed his goodwill to members of the Egbe Amofin O’odua Forum wishing them a safe sojourn and productive deliberation at its general meeting.
According to a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, Kip appreciated the Forum for the kind accommodation to send his goodwill message.
He further apologised for his inevitable absence at the meeting and expressed his joy in identifying with the Egbe Amofin O’odua.
The statement reads;
“The President and proactive executives of the Egbe Omofin O’Odua, esteemed Elders and Members of this great body; Distinguished colleagues; Gentlemen; thank you for the kind accommodation to send in this Goodwill message. I am indeed delighted.
It is at times like this, that I wish I possessed super natural powers, or I was probably Super man. If that were the case, I would be addressing this special gathering in person as I would have flown to the venue in a matter of seconds. Alas! we are humans, and as humans we experience some inhibitions foisted on us by nature; ones that we can’t control. Please excuse and permit my absence.
I must salute your objectives and goals of changing the narrative for your members and the Legal Profession at large.
I am happy to identify with Egbe Omofin O’Odua today because I gravitate towards the gathering of great thinkers.
There is no better time than now for us to evaluate our performances and bring together fresh ideas and crop of Bar Leaders who will explore innovative ways of promoting the quality of our practice post-pandemic era, emphasise welfare of Lawyers, and expand the bouquet of services we render.
Thank you once again for having me. I wish you all fruitful deliberations.
God bless Egbe Omofin O’Odua.”
