In a press statement signed by Daniel Kip, he felicitated with the newly sworn Judges of the High Court and Customary Court of Appeal in Cross River State.

He urged the newly sworn Judges to add value to the Cross River State Judiciary and exhibit bravery while dispensing justice without fear or favour.

He then went on say:
“I congratulate the newly sworn Judges of the High Court of Cross River State, and the Customary Court of Appeal of Cross River State.

While we will continue to agitate that the process leading to the appointment of Judges should be made transparent, open and on the basis of competence, capacity, experience, track records, and proven integrity, it is not in doubt that the crop of personalities so enlisted to be sworn-in are no less worthy. I have had cause to experience, first hand, the capacity and competence of some of the appointees while at the Bar, and on the lower Bench.

I trust that these crop of Judges will add value to the Cross River State Judiciary, and exhibit bravery and courage in dispensing justice without fear or favor.
