The National President of ALDIN (Association of Lawyers with disabilities in Nigeria), Mr. Onwe Daniel has constituted a committee whose mandate is to raise funds that will be distributed to members in order to alleviate the hardship imposed by the lockdown across the country.

The President stated that the move became expedient in the light of the fact that lawyers have been forced to stay at home, thus forcing them to shut down their sources of income. He further
claimed that the situation is particularly worse for lawyers with disabilities whose situation was already critical prior to the lockdown order.

The two-man committee which is comprised of the National Financial Secretary, P. N Etumudon Esq and the National Assistant General Secretary, Salami Abolarinwa Esq will work in conjunction with ALDIN states chairmen.
