The Benin branch of the Nigerian Bar Association has set up a Humanitarian Committee to provide a palliative for young lawyers.

This was made known in a statement signed by the branch Secretary, Mr. Pius I. Oiwoh Esq.

The Committee is expected to be chaired by Prince Ivie Elena.

The Statement from Nigerian Bar Association, Benin Branch Secretary, Pius I. Oiwoh Esq., reads:

NOTICE TO MEMBERS

With a view to cushioning the hardship of our young Lawyers, the Branch hereby inaugurates a Humanitarian Committee on Covid 19 Palliative for Young Lawyers. The Committee has the following persons:-

Prince Ivie Elema- Chairman.
Douglas Ogbankwa- Secretary
Uwa Edegbe
Ehiabhi Jackson
Oghahenhen Eda
Jude Osasere Ogbeide
Dennis Osaretin- Consultant.

Terms of reference have been given to the Committee who will shortly reach out to members. We therefore solicit members’ cooperation.
