The Citizens’ Mediation Centres operating under the Lagos State Ministry of Justice shall remain closed till further notice.

This is contained in a Notice made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL)

“Due to Covid-19, all our offices remain closed till further notice.” the Notice reads.

The Centre provides free mediation services to the public in civil disputes including tenancy matters, employment, and family matters among others.

The Notice reads in part:

“Citizens’ Mediation Centre provides Mediation Services in Civil Disputes FREE OF CHARGE in:

1. Landlord/Tenant Disputes
2. Employer/Employee Disputes
3. Employee Compensation Disputes
4. Family Disputes (Including Marital Disputes, Child Custody etc.)
5. Property Inheritance and Land Disputes
6. Monetary Claims
7. Commercial Disputes”

Due to the closure of their offices, the Notice says the public can only reach them through their phone numbers and social media platforms.
