The Lagos State House of Assembly has suspended all activities within the legislative premises till Monday, July 20, 2020.

This was contained in a statement issued on Friday evening by the Clerk of the House, Mr Azeez Sanni.

According to the statement, all committee meetings, assignments, and visit to the complex are suspended from Monday.

Though no reason was given for the suspension of activities, it may not be unconnected to the death of the member representing Kosofe Constituency 2, Honourable Tunde Braimoh.

The development as it was gathered is to enable the House to fumigate the whole of the House of Assembly.
