The Delta State Judiciary has announced a “temporary change in days of duty for all staff”

This is contained in a circular made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL) signed by Onwatogwu A. E., the Director, Department of Admin/Personnel Management.

Chief Judge of the State directed that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all staff are to come to work three times a week from the hours of 10am to 2pm each day

According to the circular, the effective date of the directive is Monday 6th of July, 2020

“Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic that is taking a toll in the state, I am directed by the Honourable Chief Judge through the Ag. Chief Registrar to inform all staff that with effect from Monday, 6th July, 2020, attendance at work will now be three days a week being Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from the hours of 10:00m to 2:00pm except courts that are to sit twice a week” the circular reads.

The circular also states that the “schedule stands till further directive is given”.
