The Federal High Court in Abuja has issued a notice informing of the relocation of Courtroom Number 11 presided over by Justice Obiora Egwuatu.

According to the notice signed by the court’s registrar, Justice Egwuatu’s court has been moved to Courtroom Number 11 on the first floor of the Federal High Court Abuja Judicial Division.

The relocation takes effect from Monday, February 12th 2024. Parties with existing or scheduled cases before Justice Egwuatu are therefore expected to appear at the new Courtroom Number 11 on the said date.

No reasons were given for the relocation in the court notice. However, infrastructure changes including renovations or expansion works could necessitate shuffling of courtrooms at the Abuja Federal High Court from time to time.

The Federal High Court urged lawyers, litigants and court users to take note in order to avoid missing their court dates or appearances.
