The Council of Legal Education (CLE) and the Nigerian Law School have publicized the academic calendar for the 2023/2024 Bar Part I programme running from December 2023 to April 2024.

According to a statement by the Director-General, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma SAN, the one-week registration and induction of students will hold from Monday 11th to Friday 15th December 2023.

This will be followed by a 3-week vacation from Monday 18th December 2023 to Friday 5th January 2024.

Lectures will then commence on Monday 8th January 2024 and run for 10 weeks till Friday 23rd February 2024. The Director-General’s address to students is slated for Monday 15th January 2024.

After a one week revision period between Monday 26th February and Friday 1st March 2024, examinations will take place from 4th to 12th March 2024.

Five weeks of post-examination activities will hold from Monday 18th March to Thursday 18th April 2024. The specific date for publication of results is yet to be announced.

The released schedule indicates CLE and Nigerian Law School’s commitment towards proper planning and seamless operation of their professional training programmes. The calendar will provide guidance for prospective and current students on what to expect and when.
