Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Tuesday that there was no “agreement” on a ceasefire, after US President Donald Trump took to social media to claim that a ceasefire had been reached.

“As of now, there is NO ‘agreement’ on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations,” Araghchi posted to X.

However, he said if Israel stopped attacks by 4am Tehran time (2:30 a.m. CET), then Iran had “no intention to continue our response afterwards.”

Araghchi said that final decision on stopping Iranian military operations would be made later.

In a follow-up post minutes after, Araghchi said that Iran’s military operation had “continued until the very last minute, at 4am.”

But hours after his post, Iran fired a fourth wave of missiles towards Israel, Iranian state media says.
