The Holy Bible instructs in Hebrews 13:1 that brotherly love and fellowship perpetuates amongst brethren. In obedience to this call, members and well-wishers of the Abuja Branch of Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria convened for the 2021 edition of her Annual Dinner on Friday, 3rd December 2021.

The event which was hosted in honour of Hon. Justice Peter Oyinkenimiemi Affen JCA was graced by veterans of the Bar including Prof. Yemi Akinseye George, SAN, A.T. Kahinde, SAN, Chris Uche, SAN and Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN among other distinguished CLASFONITES.
Highlights of the event were; speech delivery by Chris Uche, SAN, CLASFON general prayers, buffet, delivery of goodwill messages, presentation of awards, courtesy photographs with December birthday celebrants and valediction by P.O. Affen JCA.
Learned Silk, Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN in his goodwill message, appreciated the leadership of CLASFON-Abuja for the organization of the event and emphasized the importance of the independence of the Nigerian Judiciary as conveyed in the speech of Chris Uche, SAN.
Further, Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN applauded the judicial dexterity and unwavering sincerity and transparency of Hon. Justice P.O. Affen while urging His Lordship to keep up with the good work. He also commended the leadership of the Christian Lawyers Fellowship for the continual succor they have always given the Bar in the place of prayer and admonition.
The ardent CLASFONITE and renowned Silk expressed his conviction that God was indeed with the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria and thanked the attendees for their attention and time whilst asking that they continue in the spirit of commitment and fellowship to pray for the betterment of the legal profession in Nigeria.
The dinner came to a close with smiles on the faces of attendees amidst wishes of a Merry Christmas and a prosperous year ahead.
No doubt, it was indeed a glamorous, refreshing and soul-lifting event.
