Chairman, Welfare Committee of the NBA Maikyau SAN, has said that the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON), is a forum that has assisted in raising lawyers to lead Godly and upright professional lives.

The Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON), is set to hold its 2021 Conference which is usually held annually.
The Learned Silk made this remark on Thursday while charging them to uphold those virtues CLASFON, is known with. He also wished them a successful Conference.
Maikyau SAN, said “Dear Esteemed Colleagues, I regard it a great privilege any time we come together to fellowship as colleagues under the noble platform of the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON)
“CLASFON is undoubtedly made up of devout and focused lawyers who are driven towards maintaining Christian values, and integrity in the Nigerian Bar Association.
“Over the years, the annual conference has been a platform of faith that has helped in grooming lawyers to lead godly and upright professional lives.
“As we prepare for yet another conference with colleagues from across the Country, I entreat us to take the time out to re-examine our station as Lawyers vis-a-vis our purpose as Christians.
“Indeed we are called to the Bar but more importantly, we are called to discipleship.
“Our call to discipleship must remain paramount in our hearts and must be reflected in our professional and personal lives.
“Our discipleship must be recognized to mean that we only really succeed when we all as flock heed to the words and teaching of our beloved Shepherd – Our Lord Jesus Christ.
“It is my prayer that this conference will further unite us in the fellowship of the Highest and help us achieve new levels of righteousness, accountability and integrity as a body of Professionals as well as citizens of our dear Nation, Nigeria. Amen!
“May I conclude by saying it is a command for us as Christians to gather and fellowship as one body in Christ Jesus.
“This would enable us to encourage one another and grow in faith, for iron sharpeneth iron.
