Justice Edozie was born on November 10, 1935 in Enugu, Enugu State, South East Nigeria, and was appointed a Justice of the Supreme Court on January 6, 2003 working there till his retirement on November 10, 2005 When he attained the mandatory retirement age of 70 years. The deceased son, Mr. Chikezie Edozie, confirmed the demise of the former Justice in a telephone call to the Chief Registrar of the Court, Mrs. Hadizatu Mustapha, today (Saturday). The Hon. Chief Justice of Nigeria prays for the peaceful repose of Justice Denis Onyejife Edozie and for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss. ]]>
