It is with a shock that the NBA President, Paul  Usoro, SAN received news of the passing away of one of Nigeria’s finest silks and barman par excellence, Sir (Chief) Alfred Eghobamien. 

In the Statement by the National Publicity Secretary, kunle Edun, the president described late Sir (Chief) Alfred Eghobamien, as an activist Barman.

“Chief Alfred Eghobamien was a very active barman and made valuable contributions to the growth of the bar and legal development. He was a life bencher.

“On behalf of the National officers and members of the Nigerian Bar Association, the NBA President expresses his condolences over his demise and prays that the Almighty God grants the families, colleagues and friends of our departed distinguished colleague the fortitude to bear this loss and carry on.

“May God grant Sir (Chief) Alfred Eghobamien, SAN a peaceful transition,” he stated.
