Chairman Arewa YLF, Jimoh Inaugurates Summit Planning, Constitution Drafting Committees

The pioneer Chairman, Arewa Young Lawyers’ Forum, Mr OD Jimoh inaugurated Summit Planning Committee and Constitution Drafting Committee chaired by Mr Dayo Ashonibare, former Vice Chairman, National Council of NBA-YLF and Mr Sani S Idris, Chairman, NBA-YLF, Kaduna respectively.

The inauguration held on 22nd September, 2019 at House No 1, B Close, 1st Avenue, Gwarinpa, Abuja.

The members of the Constitution Drafting Committee as inaugurated are as follows:

It is to be recalled that the constitutions of the committees and their membership were approved by the Members at the Annual General Meeting of the forum held on 28th August, 2019 at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Chairman, AYLF O.D Jimoh, while thanking the members of the committees for their readiness to serve, urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the members of the forum.

The Committees had since commenced work.

Mr Dayo Ashonibare, Chairman, Summit Planning Committee gave acceptance speech on behalf of members of his committee and thanked the Executive for the appointment. He disclosed to the Executives that sub committees had been constituted for smooth running of the committee. He also expressed readiness of his committee to organize best Summit that all will be proud of.

Similarly, the Chairman, Constitution Drafting Committee, Sani S. Idris gave oral report on the level of work carried out. He thanked AYLF Executives for the appointment and promised to carry out the task before them diligently and produce the constitution within stipulated time directed by the AGM.

Many members of the Committees were in attendance including: Dauda Rahila, Qasim Egbewole, Mimi Ayua, Ahmed Khalil, Moses Faya, Alemeru Mathew Adekunle and many other members. Apart from the Chairman OD Jimoh, two members of the Executives: Publicity Secretary, Mr Gbande Paul and Treasurer, Ahmad Khalil were present.
