The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has extended the window of the reduction in cost of registration of Business Names by 50%.

This was made known to the general public in a Notice dated the 10th day of May 2019, and signed by the Management.

In the notice sighted by TNL, the Commission informed the general public that the extension is to assist Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to formalize their business which will enable them own corporate account with banks, have access to loans, grants and other government interventions.

The extension according to the Notice is to last from the 13th of May, 2019 to the 13th of August, 2019.

The Commission, therefore, advised members of the public to take advantage of this extension to register their Business Names at the reduced cost of N5, 000.
