Nigerian lawyer, Abdulmalik Badamasuiy, has recently been admitted into the UK’s highest body of think tanks for world leaders.

The legal practitioner is among a privileged few to be admitted into the Uk Chatham House Membership in London as a mark of distinction and excellence in his service to humanity.

Abdulmalik who currently doubles as the Deputy Director of Nigeria’s Bureau of Public Enterprise in Abuja was equally awarded as the 2022 “World Denver’s Outstanding Education Volunteer of the Year”.

‘Malik’ during his time at NTU was instrumental in setting up the Nigerian Students Society to cater to the welfare and the future of the Nigerian community in the East Midlands. A society that was later awarded ‘Best New Society of the Year’ by the NTU Students’ Society.

Earlier this year, USAID Nigeria noted Abdulmalik for his continued support in helping to ensure that life-saving commodities and supplies were made available for vulnerable Nigerian citizens. His work helped USAID Nigeria provide anti-retroviral drugs to people living with HIV / AIDS and distribute malaria nets to the people of Nigeria.

Abdulmalik was also noted for his assistance in the expedited release of a shipment of solar-powered flashlights at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, ensuring they were made available for Nigerians living in internally displaced camps.

He was selected as an Olympic torchbearer in the UK in 2012 and is an Alumni Fellow for Nottingham Business School.
