The marital crisis between popular comedian Ijoba Lande and his estranged wife, Dara, has escalated after actor and comedian Babatunde Bernard Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, admitted to having a brief sexual encounter with Dara, despite initially denying any wrongdoing.

In an interview with controversial socialite Esabod and other TikTokers, Dara addressed the adultery allegations, insisting that nothing intimate happened between her and Baba Tee beyond sitting on his lap during a game of “Truth or Dare” at his residence.
She narrated, “The first time I met Baba Tee was in July 2024 when I followed my friend Marygold to his house because she wanted to invite him to her movie launch. Baba Tee didn’t know I was Lande’s wife. When we arrived, Marygold requested alcohol, which Baba Tee sent his driver to buy. We barely spoke until they returned.”
Dara explained that after consuming multiple shots of alcohol, Marygold initiated a ‘Truth or Dare’ game. According to her, things took an unexpected turn when Marygold “stripped naked and gave Baba Tee a BJ” while she and Baba Tee continued drinking.
“By then, I had already taken 10 shots of alcohol while Marygold and Baba Tee smoked ‘Igbo’ (marijuana). Marygold then dared Baba Tee to give me a doggy style, but I refused. Instead, I said I would only sit on his lap. We told Marygold to turn around so she wouldn’t watch us. That was all that happened.”
Contrary to Dara’s claim, Baba Tee has now admitted that a brief sexual encounter did occur between them, though he insists it was not intentional and that he was unaware of Dara’s marital status at the time.
During a live interview on Sunday, March 9, Baba Tee explained, “When Marygold and Dara came to my house, she (Marygold) introduced Dara as a content creator, not as Lande’s wife. They started asking me about a Qatar connection before suggesting we play ‘Truth or Dare.’”
He claimed that Marygold consistently dared him to interact with Dara while she kept drinking alcohol. He further revealed, “Rather than throwing ‘Truth’ at me, they kept daring me. Marygold then dared Dara to have a quick sexual encounter with me, and she obliged.”
In his words, “I initially denied it because I genuinely didn’t know she was Lande’s wife. But now, I admit it happened. I regret it, and I believe it was a setup to tarnish my image.”
The scandal erupted after Ijoba Lande went public with allegations that Dara had been unfaithful to him with multiple men in the entertainment industry, including Baba Tee.
In a previous interview, Lande accused Dara of being involved with at least 21 men in the industry and claimed that she left him after he confronted her with evidence of her infidelity.
