The Election Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association has cleared Auta Nyada to contest for the office of National Welfare Secretary.

Reacting to this, Auta, who is a member of NBA Welfare Committee, said:
“Dear Learned Silks, Seniors, and Distinguished Colleagues.
“It is with utmost humility and delight that I write this to inform you that I have been deemed worthy, qualified, and cleared to stand for election into the office of WELFARE SECRETARY of our referred Association.
“The process has been humbling as well as educating.
“I thank you all for the journey so far. What started as a lone dream is now a movement.
“I am grateful for the gift of you all.
“The work has just begun. Let us do this together.
“God bless the NBA and God bless Us all”.
