Member, NBA National Welfare Committee and NEC Rep. Suleja Branch, Auta Nyada, heartily greets the Ibadan branch of the Nigerian Bar Association on her 2021 Annual Law Dinner.

Auta on Monday, disclosed this in his goodwill message to the branches.

He said he is delighted to be accorded the rare privilege of saying a few words at this year’s Annual Dinner of this Branch. 

“My special appreciation goes first to the Branch Chairman, other elected officials, and the Bar Dinner Committee for the sheer diligence in garnering resources to put together an event such as this in keeping faith with the age-long tradition of the Profession.

“The importance of Bar Dinners such as this cannot be overemphasized for obvious reasons amongst others that it provides a unique opportunity for us as colleagues to network and enjoy the finest cuisine under a very relaxed atmosphere away from the extremely formal settings of our daily professional calling; it also affords us the opportunity to strengthen our personal friendship and professional brotherhood. 

“After all it is said that good food is sweeter when shared with friends. 
 
“As you dine and wine with one another in a more relaxed atmosphere, it is my hope and prayer that you also reflect on the state of the nation as it relates to our immediate Constituency (“the Judiciary”) with the hope that our discourse in the days ahead will capture the essence of your reflections.

“I cannot end this goodwill message without appreciating our colleagues whose presence have lent credence to the work of the dinner committee.
