AUTA NYADA CELEBRATES WITH NBA BAUCHI BRANCH ON ITS 2021 ANNUAL DINNER & AWARD NIGHT.
I congratulate the Leadership of the Branch for the great feat of producing yet another Senior Advocate of Nigeria. This is indeed a sign that the practice in Bauchi State is not only robust, but thriving and engaging. This is owing to the recent land mark achievements in producing seasoned Practitioners as Senior Advocates of Nigeria in a very short period of time.
Having said so, I will equally like to congratulate the Branch Executives and the members of the Annual Dinner Committee for their determination, commitment and sacrifices in hosting this year’s dinner with the theme “A bow for the uminaries”.
Indeed, there is no better way to thank members for the unrivaled and superb job they render to the society at maintaining an equilibrium, than giving them a “bow”.
It is indeed a theme well thought out and employed to convey our professional obligation to the society; an obligation which I believe has been adequately discharged for years past and indeed this year where we are recovering from a pandemic that plagued mankind yet we still found it in all our strides to ensure that justice was and is delivered (even when at some point we were considered, albeit tremendously wrongly, not to be essential workers).
It is said that a law is valuable not because it is a law but bacause there is right and good in it. At many times and for which ever divide you have been on, I commend you, distinguished Luminaries, for doing the right thing by upholding the law and not being fazed by all the obstacles inbetween.
Great luminaries, as you take this bow, I urge you to rise with a renewed zeal to continue the fight for a better You, for a better Profession and for a better
Nigeria.
You will be regaled with sumptuous cuisines not for the cuisines in themselves but for the need to afford you a communal but relaxing ambience to strengthen and cement bonds of professional friendships and alliances.
It is also my wish that the awardees of the award night will justify the confidence reposed in them by doing more in the coming days and years.
