Member, NBA Welfare Committee and Co-opted NEC Rep Suleja Branch, Auta Nyada Esq, has called the Yola branch of Nigerian Bar Association a home.

Auta, disclosed this in his goodwill message to the branch on the occasion of her 2022 Annual Law Lecture and Dinner.

He said:  “Yola is home, thus I am honoured and thrilled to be accorded the rare privilege of saying a few words at this year’s Annual Dinner of Yola branch.

“My special appreciation goes first to the Branch Chairman and members of his executive, for leading this great branch with so much foresight and zest.

“The dynamic improvements that have been brought to bare are visible and most commendable.

“I wish to quickly appreciate the  distinguished members of the Law week Committee for the sheer diligence in planning, implementing and garnering resources to put together an event such as this in line with the age long tradition of the Profession.

“The importance of events of this kind cannot be overemphasized; not only are Bar men afforded the opportunity to strengthen the cord that binds them in an environment with a celestial ambience but it affords everyone the opportunity to hearken to the clarion call to remember that the Bar and its traditions are ours to preserve.

“It is often said that most great changes begin from dining tables, hence as you dine and interface with one another, it is my hope and prayer that you also reflect on the state of the nation as it relates to our immediate Constituency (“the Judiciary”) with the hope that our discourse in the days ahead will capture the essence of your reflections.

“Thank you all once more for giving me this time, happy new year and do have a memorable law week.

“Bon Appetit”.
