The Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has temporarily relocated its Secretariat from City Hall Lagos, to the 7th Floor of St. Nicholas House, by Catholic Mission Street, and also to the 3rd Floor of 213 Igbosere Road, Lagos beside the old Law School building.

The relocation which was contained in an announcement made by the Branch Secretary, Mr. Moshood Abiola on November 11, 2020, is titled “TEMPORARY RE-LOCATION OF THE BRANCH SECRETARIAT”, and sighted by ‘TheNigeriaLawyer’.
Recall that the branch Secretariat at the former location— City Hall Lagos, was amongst the several offices that were ransacked and vandalised during the aftermath of the EndSARS protest after it was said to have been hijacked by suspected hoodlums in the state.
In addition to the relocation, the announcement notes that whilst the day to day operations of the Secretariat would be handle from the St. Nicholas House, matters relating to the collection of stamp and seal, as well as, letter of good standing and branch dues, would however be covered at the Igbosere axis of the new location.
“For stamp applications, collection of stamps, letters of good standing and branch dues receipts, members should please visit 3rd Floor, 213, Igbosere Road, Lagos, besides old Law School building whilst all other matters including the day to day operations of the Secretariat will be handled at 7th Floor, St. Nicolas House, by Catholic Mission Street, opposite City Hall, Lagos” the announcement reads.
Intended visitors however notified that given the existence of the pandemic, the Secretariat would ensure observance of the Covid-19 protocols and as such intended visitors are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing while visiting the offices.
