The Honourable Chief Judge of Anambra State,  Justice Onochie M. Anyachebelu, has scheduled the date for 2020 Annual Court Vacation for Judges in the state.

The Vacation is made pursuant to the provisions of order 46 rules 4(d), 5(i) and 6 of Anambra state High Court Rules, 2019 as amended.

According to the statement by virtue of all powers enabling Justice Anyachebelu in that behalf do hereby make the following orders:-

1. From Monday, 3rd of August, 2020 and ending on Friday, 11th day of September 2020, is declared ANNUAL VACATION PERIOD OF THE HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE OF ANAMBRA STATE OF NIGERIA

2. The high court will reopen officially on Monday 14th September 2020

3.DURING THE ANNUAL VACATION:
a)The time for filing and service of pleading shall not run unless otherwise ordered.
b)Any matter may be heard by the consent of all parties thereto;
c)Interlocutory applications of urgent nature may be dealt with

4. VACATION JUDGES
a) During the vacation, the following Honourable Judges shall sit as vacation judges:
b) Hon Justice O. M Anyachebelu
c) Hon Justice C. G. Nwankwor
d) Hon Justice T. U. Oguji
e) Hon Justice F. I. Amiukwu
f) These judges shall sit at high court of Justice Awka during the vacation.

5. This order may be cited as High Court of Justice Anambra State of Nigeria Annual Vacation and Appointment of Vacation Judges Order, 2020
