Construction has commenced at the Lawyers In Business Mass Housing and Land-Banking Scheme site along Airport Road, Abuja, with prominent legal figures, including Chief Niyi Akintola, SAN, reportedly completing payment for plots now being developed into homes and staff quarters.

The scheme, which still offers 12 plots of various sizes at old prices, is drawing attention across Nigeria’s legal community. Other confirmed allottees include senior advocates, judges, law professors, and private practitioners — many of whom have opted to remain anonymous.

Issuance of Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) to verified allottees has begun, following the approval of the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory. Details of the C of O issuance are published in The Nation Newspaper of June 3, 2025 (Pages 23–29).
