Afrobeats icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has traditionally married Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru in a private ceremony reportedly held on July 25, 2025.

The intimate ceremony was attended by close family members, including the singer’s parents, and was steeped in vibrant cultural traditions. Social media was awash on Thursday with images and videos showing the couple in full traditional regalia, drawing admiration from fans and well-wishers.

2Baba was dressed in a white short-sleeved native shirt with grey embroidery, paired with a matching white wrapper tied at the waist. He completed his look with coral bead necklaces and wristbands, white shoes, dark sunglasses, and a ceremonial beaded staff.

Natasha, on the other hand, stunned in a red off-shoulder gown complemented by the Edo ‘okuku’ hairstyle — a beaded crown made from coral along with layers of coral beads around her neck, shoulders, and arms, proudly showcasing her Edo heritage.

The marriage follows 2Baba’s recent separation from his longtime wife and actress Annie Macaulay, with whom he shares children. While neither 2Baba nor Natasha has made a public statement confirming the marriage, the widely circulated footage has fueled online buzz about the new union.

Sources close to the couple described the ceremony as “joyful and deeply cultural,” marking a new chapter in both the singer’s personal life and the political figure’s journey.
