‘The Wig and the Streets’ is set to hold a Symposium on the welfare, mentorship and career development for new wigs in Nigeria.
The theme is “Thriving in the 21st Century as a Junior Lawyer”.
Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, will deliver the keynote address.
The Symposium is scheduled as follows;

Speaking about the event, the convener, Emmanuel Ayoola said it is time to talk about why new wigs are poorly paid and discuss the larger conversation of how they can thrive in the 21st Century.
He asked “How can young lawyers thrive amidst unfavourable working conditions?
“Why are new wigs paid poorly?
“Let’s engage in an inter-demographic exchange that will involve the leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association, senior lawyers and junior lawyers on the subject of welfare, mentorship and career development for young lawyers.”
