Past National Welfare Secretary, NBA, Adesina  Adegbite AA, has heartily Congratulated the leadership of NBA Calabar Branch (Doyen Bar) on the auspicious occasion of her 2022 Bar Week.

The Doyen Bar in Monday began its Annual Law Week which  will end on t10th April, 2022, in Calabar, Cross River State.

He said, that the Bar Week is Themed – ‘We, The People: Agenda For National Consensus”, is a testimony that the Bar has come to a realisation of the need to interrogate the purpose of our existence as a people, in an acclaimed ‘indivisible’ country.

“We must therefore, use the opportunity of this Bar Week to undertake an empirical analysis of the attitudinal nature of ‘We, The People’ vis-a-vis our desire to enthrone a country where Rule of Law, Justice and Peace shall reign.

“The citizenry must become empowered to attain the ideal state where it can take responsibility for the political leadership it enthroned.

“I have no doubt in my mind that the eminent personalities and distinguished resource persons lined up to speak at the Bar Week will do justice to the burning issue for discourse.

“I commend the Chairman and his Executive members, the Chairman and members of the Planning Committee and all members of the Branch for staging the 2022 Bar Week, which promises to be scintillating and epoch making.

“I wish the entire members of NBA Calabar Branch and all participants fruitful deliberations, impactful engagements and a most productive and successful Law Week.”
