Former National Welfare Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Adesina Adegbite, FICMC(A), has congratulated the Chairman, the Branch Officers, the Law Week Planning Committee and the entire members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikorodu Branch, on the occasion of the 2022 Law Week.

The Branch on Wednesday, 11th began its 2022  Bar Week which will end 17th May, 2022.

Adesina, in his statement said, the Theme of the Law Week: “Nation Building, Our Collective Responsibility” is very instructive and apt in view of the present times, especially what appears to be a systemic failure of leadership in our country.

“We must therefore take advantage of this Law Week to articulate the responsibilities of the people in Nation Building. While leaders must be reminded of their preeminent responsibilities, the people must be educated about their concurrent responsibility to, not only be good and law abiding citizens, but also, on the need for them to always hold the leaders accountable for their misdeeds and misgovernance.

“I look forward to being in your midst in the course of the Law Week which I believe will turn out to be a most impactful and inspiring Law Week.

“I wish the entire members of the extended Ikeja Bar, the Ikorodu Branch a fruitful and most successful Law Week

“God Bless NBA Ikorodu Branch.
“God Bless Nigerian Bar Association.
“God bless Nigeria.
