Past National Welfare Secretary of the Nigerian  Bar Association (NBA), Adesina Adegbite FICMC, has heartily congratulated the Chairperson, the Officers and all members of FIDA Oyo Branch on the hosting of a successful Annual FIDA Oyo Week.

The 2021 Law Week which kicked off on the 8th of October will be brought to an end with the Annual Dinner hold today, the 15th October, 2021, in Ibadan.

Adegbite in his statement said: “The Theme of the Law Week – : Voice of Women and Children; Making The Law Work,” was certainly well thought out.

“The Law must actually work for all, particularly the vulnerable ones like the Women and Children.

“The right of women to occupy public offices must be affirmed; and all manners of deprivation, discrimination, domestic violence and molestation against Women must be checkmated through the application of the Law.

“The Law must also work to ensure education guarantee for the children and protection of their rights against abuses and trafficking.

“May I once again appreciate FIDA for her consistency in championing the cause of protection of Child Rights and the fight against domestic and gender-based violence.

“There is no doubt that the Week has been most eventful and successful.

“Congratulations FIDA OYO”, the statement read.
