*Calls For Petitions Against The Candidates

Nigerian Bar Association has requested lawyers to submit petition to the appointment of shortlisted candidates for the Supreme Court Justice.

In the publication signed by the Chairman, NBA Judiciary Committee, Dr. Babatunde Ajibade, the NBA calls for members of the Bar and General public aware of any reason why the listed nominees should not be appointed to the bench of the Apex Court to make it known in a petition addressed to the Association.

TheNigerialawyer recalls, that on the 7th day of February 2022, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) through its Judiciary Committee called for expression of interest, from suitably qualified legal practitioners from specific Geo-political Regions in Nigeria for appointment as Justices of the Supreme Court.
