The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has honored the courage and unwavering dedication of the Nigerian Armed Forces, as the nation marks the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

In a press statement signed by its President, Emeka Obegolu SAN, the ACCI paid tribute to the service and supreme sacrifice of fallen heroes who lost their lives defending Nigeria’s democracy, security and territorial integrity.

“Men and women of our Armed Forces have incurred injuries and placed themselves in harm’s way daily to ensure our nation remains safe and open for business. They are true patriots and deserve our utmost honor and support,” he noted.

The chamber pledged continuous support to military families who have lost loved ones, while promising improved welfare and encouragement as troops continue to decimate enemies on different fronts.

Obegolu reaffirmed ACCI’s status as an Armed Forces Friendly Institution that would always stand by the military through prayers, advocacy and partnerships.

He charged the nation to support armed forces families and honor the memory of fallen heroes whose blood helped sustain Nigeria’s unity.

The statement concluded with slogans highlighting the chamber’s unwavering commitment to national security agencies and the Nigeria project at large.
