ACCI Dispute Resolution Centre In Conjunction With ICMC Opens A 2 Day Training Course

The training which is taking place at the Abuja international trade and convention centre is focusing on Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR) registry and secretarial services. The training aims at equipping the participants with the background knowledge of ADR and provide them with the skills needed to serve as a Registrars or Secretaries in arbitration, mediation and other related proceedings. Addressing the participants, the Chairman of the ACCI-DRC, Chief Emeka Obegolu, who is also the President ICMC, stressed the importance of ADR in resolution of commercial disputes while underscoring the significant role of ADR secretaries in the task of effectively and efficiently ventilating of disputes. He further stated, as the alternative dispute resolution is gradually taking the center stage in the legal practice, the need for professional ADR secretaries could not be overemphasized.
