United States President Donald Trump on Thursday, February 5, publicly recognised Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, during the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C.

The event, a longstanding tradition in the U.S. capital that brings together political and religious leaders, took a notable turn when the American president paused his address to spotlight Nigeria’s First Lady.

Trump drew attention to Mrs. Tinubu in the audience, describing her as a respected figure and highlighting her role as a Christian pastor in one of the largest churches in Nigeria.

He portrayed her as a woman of significant influence and faith, acknowledging her spiritual role in Nigeria.

“We’re honored to be joined today by the First Lady of Nigeria, who also happens to serve as a Christian pastor at one of the largest churches in Nigeria.
