GENERAL MANAGER (REAL ESTATE) Reporting to the Chairman of the Group and Chief Executive Officer and interfacinq with all Departmental Heads of the company and the general public. General Manager is responsible for all aspects of Real Estate Management functions of the company in line with the Group policies. Duties and Responsibilities • Creation of job schedule, tasks and assignments for subordinates. Periodic update of all properties within his portfolio. • Feedback assessment to the Management on portfolio performance. • Collation of information through internet, professional bulletin, government reports, telephone and business directories on individual global property trends • Facility Management: Repair/renovation and maintenance cost analysis as well as implementation • Reviews, renewals and termination of leases. • Periodic routine management and inspection of property components in relation to uses as specified in tenancy agreements • Inspection of projects and ensuring their compliance ~ith planning authority and Land Use Act. • Purchases, acquisitions and utilization of developed and undeveloped land parcels. • Project initiation, development and management • Any other lawful duty which may from time to time be assigned by Management Qualifications and Experience • A good first degree in Estate Management • An LLB, BL or a Master’s degree in Business, Project or Facility Management is essential • Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers or any other relevant professional body is obligatory • Minimum of 15 – 20 years’ experience in a similar position, 7 years of which should be at Senior Management level • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with clients, govemment officials and professionals. • Must be a confident and assertive team player with good communication skills and high proficiency in computer use and multimedia applications. • Paying critical attention to detaus, and must have excellent quantitative analytical skills and be able to approach problems logically and creatively. 5. OFFICE MANAGER/SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT Reporting to the Chairman, this role is accountable for creating, managing and enhancing the administrative functions at strategic level by developing strategies, policies and infrastructure for integration and synergy, with oversight responsibilities spanning general administration, human resources, coordination of all activities in the Chairman’s office. Qualifications and Experience • A good first degree in law (LLB. Bl) or Humanities from a reputable university. • An MBA or any other Master’s degree is essential. • Membership of relevant professional body • Minimum of 15 – 20 years’ experience, at leasl 10 years of which should be at executive management level. • Working knowledge of organizational planning is essential Duties and Responsibilities • To manage the Chairman’s Secretariat with other support staff. • To regularly analyze domestic and international business/economic scenario and keep the Chairman informed • To keep the Chairman informed of important domestic and international news/events. • To attend to all official mail addressed to the Chairman in consultation with him and as per his directive. • To set up meetings for Chairman and to circulate agenda in advance to all concerned. • To draft reports and prepare power-point presentations. • To be the confidante of the Chairman and treat all matters and information as highly confidential. • Must be versatile in the use of computer applications. • Liaise with all departmental heads.
