A Foreign Based Benin Business Woman- Mrs Florence Erhabor has Petitioned the Ekiadolor Area Command of the Edo State Police Command of  the Nigeria Police to the Commissioner of Police Edo State.

In a Petition written on her behalf by Douglas Ogbankwa Esq. Of Douglas Ogbankwa and Co.- a Law firm dated the 22nd of October, 2019, the Petitioner- Mrs Florence Erhabor, stated that Men of the Ekiadolor Area Command, instigated by one  Inspector Story Omoregie of the Command have been raiding the House of the Petitioner and illegally, incessantly and indescriminately arresting the tenants in the House without any Complaint from any person against them.

She also alleged that the sum of hundreds of thousands of Naira were extorted from her Tenants in the House by Men of the Ekiadolor Area Command,turning the Tenants into a cash cow.

“Men of the Area Command has raided the house about 10 times in the last few Months.

She is calling on the Edo State Commissioner of Police to bring the culprits to book to stem the inpunity, stating that  Edo State  Police Command under the Watch of the Commissioner of Police frowns at such impunities.

Copied in the letter are The Inspector General of Police, Assistant Inspector General of police,  Chairman Human Rights Commission and Amnesty International.
